Westergasfabriek is a popular event facility with an every increasing list of activities. To be able to better monitor and manage the noise emission, Munisense installs and operates a permanent monitoring system consisting of nineteen class-1 noise meters. This way, the city gains a system to monitor events anywhere and anytime. The systems uses spectral analysis to pin-point the activity that contributes to potential noise violations.
The system utilises Munisense latest class-1 NMS (Noise Monitoring Station) which measures spectral noise in 34 1/3th octave bands. The system will be installed in the 2nd half of 2015.
